Main Tasks/Responsibilities*
We are looking for a Field Service Engineer who wants to consolidate a career being a part of a leading in vitro diagnostic company that has been growing enormously during the last 15 years.
As an expert professional in your area, you will be joining our Technical Services Department supporting the assigned region (South). You will be responsible of ensuring and maximizing the customer satisfaction with Sysmex product lines.
🚀 What will you do?
- Ensure exceptional customer support for all Sysmex products and solutions in your assigned geographical area.
- Attend customer visits to perform corrective interventions, ensuring the reliable performance of our installed base.
- Execute installations, manage warranty services, and carry out preventive and corrective maintenance.
- Report back on field quality issues, contributing to continuous improvement and product reliability.
- Monitor and maintain the performance and accuracy of installations, detecting and solving system errors efficiently.
- Keep physicians and lab personnel informed about proper system operation, ensuring high-quality diagnostics.
- Deliver basic technical training to users post-installation, enabling smooth onboarding and confident usage.
- Provide on-site support to Sales and Marketing teams during congresses, workshops and product demonstrations.
- Collaborate with Sales to maximize customer satisfaction and optimize commercial results in your territory.
What you need to be successful
- Bachelor’s/Master’s Degree in Engineering or Biosciences
- Advanced Certificate in electronics and/or equivalent industry experience
- Native level of Portuguese and fluent in English
- Technical electronic equipment background, between 3-5 years of experience managing technical teams (IVD industry)
- Knowledge as a user of PC tools and software applications
- Capable of working independently and to work under stressful situations
