Your Role
What if you could shape fair, transparent, and competitive compensation across EMEA? As a Compensation Specialist (f/m/x) EMEA, you will take ownership of key compensation topics, advise stakeholders, and drive projects that shape our compensation framework.You will combine compensation expertise with analytical skills to deliver consistent, competitive, and future-oriented compensation practices across the region. Your key responsibilities include:
- Driving pay transparency topics, including gender pay analysis and reporting
- Defining and maintaining salary structures and pay bands
- Conducting job evaluations, market analysis, and salary surveys
- Supporting and driving the annual compensation cycle across EMEA
- Reviewing compensation changes and providing data-driven recommendations
- Leading end-to-end compensation projects
- Advising affiliates and senior stakeholders, including regional leadership
- Contributing to the Total Rewards agenda, with a strong focus on compensation
- Working with SAP and relevant compensation tools and data sources, including Mercer
- Occasional travel within EMEA, depending on business needs
Your Profile
You are a Compensation expert who takes ownership and gets things moving? You enjoy working independently, navigating complex topics, and engaging confidently with senior stakeholders? If this sounds like you, you could be a great fit for this role. To be successful in this role, you ideally bring the following qualifications and strengths:
- Relevant academic or professional qualification combined with 2–5+ years of hands-on Compensation experience, ideally in an international or EMEA environment
- Strong expertise across core Compensation processes, including job evaluation, salary structures, pay bands, market pricing, benchmarking, and the annual compensation cycle
- Solid understanding of pay transparency and gender pay topics, with the ability to translate requirements into practical solutions
- Proven experience in leading projects end-to-end, from defining objectives and planning through implementation and stakeholder communication
- A highly proactive and self-driven mindset, with the ability to take ownership of topics and move them forward with minimal guidance
- Strong analytical and data-driven skills, combined with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail
- Excellent communication and senior stakeholder management skills, with the confidence to advise and challenge senior leaders and regional stakeholders
- Strong SAP knowledge and experience working with compensation systems and data; hands-on experience with Mercer surveys, methodologies, and tools is a strong advantage
- Fluent English is required; The preferred location is our EU headquarters in Hamburg, but other locations within the EMEA region may also be considered
